About the role This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Retail Manager or Retail Supervisor to join our client''s Retail Newsagent Store(s) in Rockhampton and Britinya, Queensland. As Retail Manager/Retail Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail store, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive sales growth. This full-time position offers a chance to utilise your leadership skills and expertise in the retail industry. What you''ll be doing Manage and lead a team of retail associates, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to ensure excellent customer service. Oversee inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays to create an engaging shopping experience. Analyse sales data and customer trends to identify growth opportunities and implement marketing strategies. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant legislation. Communicate with head office to report store performance and collaborate on new initiatives. Foster a positive work culture aligned with the company''s values. What we''re looking for Diploma in Retail Management or relevant field. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in retail management or supervision. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in data analysis and technology use to improve operations. Passion for retail and visual merchandising. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.
