Hyper-local, unforgettable, and a world of natural beautywhat more do you need?Were looking for a Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations and deliver what we call the Intrepid Experience a dining journey that complements and elevates each guests stay. Catering to over 50 guests at a time, this role is responsible for supervising kitchen staff, maintaining the highest health and safety standards, and working closely with local producers and suppliers to craft innovative, high-quality menus.As a key member of EOBRs leadership team, youll play a vital role in championing our values and driving the hotels continued growth in alignment with our 2030 strategic vision. Were seeking someone who is not only passionate about food but also about our brand and its future.This full-time, permanent position is based on-site in scenic Coles Bay, Tasmania paying between $90-100,000 per year.Some of the experience youll bring with you may include:Experience as a hands-on Head Chef or Sous Chef with a background in high end restaurantsExcellent technical knowledge and experience in varied cooking techniquesIn depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene standardsExceptional time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work well under pressureStrong leadership and people management skillsAbility to manage budgets, inventory and kitchen schedules effectivelyPassion for delivering high quality food and memorable guest experiencesOur people reflectthe diversity of our customers and the communities we visit:Intrepid is made up of 58 nationalities across 46 countries, and we recognise that diversity makes us a stronger business.
