The future is bright, offering endless opportunities for many to Grow with LindsaysThe RoleOur Gatton transport depot is looking for experience Linehaul Drivers.Linehaul drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customer goods from one location to another. This role demands a high level of skill, with expertise and experience in operating a commercial heavy vehicle with a gross vehicle mass of over 4.5 tonne.We have a casual and permanent positions to fill the following newly created runs:Gatton SydneyGatton Cootamundra & DubboDuties you can expect with this role include:Working with temperature sensitive freightEnsuring the safe and timely handling of company freightCompleting relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperworkInteracting with clients in a professional mannerWorking closely with Depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight.Operating prime movers in the configuration of B-doublesCompleting essential safety documentation such as pre-start checklistsAbout you:To succeed in this role, we anticipate you will be able to demonstrate:Have a current & valid MC licence as a minimumExperience driving B-doublesKnowledge of paperwork associated with freight delivery and familiarity using internal cab data systems.Basic Fatigue Management accreditation (well respected but not essential)Have a commitment to workplace health and safety.Have a strong customer focus with good communication skills.Be well presented, professional and reliableTo be successful for this role applicants must;Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol testProvide a current traffic print outBe prepared to work away from home for periods of time, across day & nights shifts.Be flexible of start and finish timeLindsay Australia operates with a culture of honesty and openness.Equal Opportunity EmployerThe Lindsay Group is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
