PERSOLKELLY have partnered with a GLOBAL brand looking for a stand-out Operations Manager to join and lead their Sunshine VIC plant. We need someone who can hit the ground running and bring strategic outlooks, customer focus, and operational experience from day one.Reporting into the AU Supply Chain & Operations Manager, this succession role, will see you developing this person into the National Operations position in the near future.You will be an experienced operations leader who understands that customer excellence begins inside the factory gates. Your leadership presence and mindset is needed to uplift performance, align operations with business strategy, and coach the teams to think deeply about why they do what they do-and how it impacts the customer.We''re looking for someone who can shift the mindset of the operations team, helping them understand every action, big or small, impacts the customer experience.Ultimately, we''ll trust you to help us remain compliant, efficient, and profitable.ResponsibilitiesEnsure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective wayImprove operational management systems, processes, and best practicesFormulate strategic and operational objectivesExamine financial data and use them to improve profitabilityManage budgets and forecastsPerform quality controls and monitor production KPIsRecruit, train, and supervise staffFind ways to increase quality of customer service/ CXAbout youCustomer-Centric Operational LeadershipManufacturing, FMCG &/or Lubricant Industry experience idealStrategic Thinking Meets Practical ExecutionUnderstanding of EBA / Unionised environmentsStrong Quality and Compliance ethics.Familiar with Systems such as MFGpro, SCADA, SAP or the like..This role will play a critical leadership function, supporting both day-to-day operational excellence and long-term strategic improvements across manufacturing, warehousing, site maintenance, and safety.
