Emergency Department is supported by surgical, medical, paediatric, obstetrics & gynaecology, psychiatric, anaesthetic, and ICU services. They are a regional trauma centre and are well supported by Adult Retrieval Victoria. The hospital is currently staffed by 4 full-time FACEMs and has regular FACEM locums providing additional clinical oversight. It is accredited for 6 months of Advanced Training with the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine, including paediatric log-book requirements. The location is in North West Victoria on the Murray River, approximately 600 km from Melbourne and 380 km from Adelaide. The population of the town and surrounding district (Sunraysia) is approximately 80,000. AHPRA registration is essential to be considered for this role.
