We are seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to lead the planning and logistics of our Client''s events.This role is pivotal in supporting the Land and Environment team to ensure the successful delivery of a large-scale national event, with up to 300 attendees, including over 200 Indigenous Land and Sea Rangers. Youll be responsible for managing end-to-end event coordination, including travel, venue logistics, procurement, communications, and reporting.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate travel and accommodation for staff and attendeesOrganise venue, equipment, catering, and promotional itemsCommunicate with guests, suppliers, and venue staffKeep track of timelines, budgets, and event checklistsCollect registrations and dietary needsAssist with reporting and feedback after the eventFollow workplace safety and procurement proceduresAbout YouHigh proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).Previous experience in conference/event coordination.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.Able to think creatively and problem-solve under pressure.A reliable and committed team player who thrives in dynamic environmentAbility to adapt to shifting priorities and timelines.Availability to work flexible hours, including some weekends.Capacity to travel within QueenslandAbout UsWith offices in Cairns and Townsville, Precruitment is Regional Queenslands leading recruitment consultancy, specialising in permanent and temporary roles.
