Embarking on change to achieve the best results for residents and the organisation, they are in the process of transitioning staffing from an external management company to an internal structure.The exciting opportunity:Report directly into the BoardOperational management of a modern retirement village consisting of 65 villas and apartments and a community hall in Perths Inner suburbsForm excellent relationships with the local community, promoting the organisation and building a sound reputation to achieve maximum occupancyProvide superb customer service, responding to feedback and complaintsDevelop and implement policies and procedures, and instigate and introduce continuous improvement initiatives to ensure services meet governing legislation and accreditation standardsAssist with setting and then manage the budget, controlling expenditure, and presenting at finance meetingsRecruit and manage an Administration Officer and provide direction to contractors and volunteersCoordinate the maintenance and refurbishments of the independent living unitsWhat makes this great:Make your mark in this newly created role and lead an organisation through the change of creating an internal staffing structureAvoid corporate bureaucracy and red tape by reporting directly to the BoardGreat job satisfaction help the elderly maintain their independence and quality of lifeBe guided and supported by your dedicated 3D Recruit Career Consultant, assisting with CV creation, interview preparation and career advice$50 an hour + super + salary packagingAbout you:Proven track record in a Retirement Village Manager roleSound understanding of the Retirement Villages Act and Code of ConductA visible leader with superb communication, interpersonal and customer service skills; able to develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with clear boundariesStrong financial acumen with a proven track record managing and forecasting budgetsKind, empathetic, honest and with a can do attitudeWhat next:If this sounds right for you, contact Kamala immediately on 0424 435 152 or email your CV to kamala@3drecruit.com.au .
