Add expected salary to your profile for insightsOreco Group have an exciting opportunity for a Heavy diesel and agricultural mechanic to join our expanding manufacturing facility in Childers, QLD.We are seeking a Full Time Heavy diesel and agricultural mechanic. This position will see you become a part of a high performing Maintenance team.Based in ISIS Central, Oreco Group is a privately owned, manufacturing company who produce and supply a diverse range of horticultural and agricultural products throughout Australia. Oreco Groups sole focus is to produce the best quality products, while supporting local and regional businesses and communities, by sourcing recycled, eco-friendly and sustainable raw materials.As our Heavy diesel and agriculture mechanic you will be maintaining our fleet of trucks and trailers, and our fleet of tractors and balers and tractor attachments. Alongside our grinders which are diesel powered.Our maintenance team work independently and within a team, to diligently plan, organise and carry out servicing, breakdowns and annual overhauling activities that will help Oreco Group meet our targets and get the most out of our fleet.The Role Responsibilities: Carrying out general mechanical duties, maintenance, repairs, and fault diagnosis work on all Oreco Group Equipment Carrying out yearly overhaul of all of our agricultural equipment such as our balers and tractors Providing feedback for efficient maintenance planning improvements On call after hours and weekend work maybe required on occasion Completion of documentation and reports (as required) for work carried out Record keeping of parts usage, equipment monitoring, time records and job cards Adhering to all policies and procedures, especially EHS PoliciesSkills and Experience: Trade qualified in Diesel mechanics (Heavy industry and Agriculture) Minimum of 3 years post trade experience Experience with Heavy vehicles and mobile plant (Front end loaders, excavators) A current MC/HC license will be viewed favorably Experience in a workshop environment would be looked upon favorablyThis role will report to our Maintenance Manager and Service Coordinator.Whats on Offer: An immediate start is available Full Time opportunity with an Australian owned company experiencing another exciting growth period Supportive and friendly team environment An opportunity to take your career to the next level Work close to home and be home every nightIf this opportunity excites you sounds like your ideal role, please click apply now and include your updated cover letter and resume.
