It features over 100 guest rooms and suites, two restaurants, conference and event spaces, and the only Villa Thalgo Day Spa in Australia, making it an ideal destination for getaways, romantic retreats, weddings, or conferences.We are seeking a candidate to manage the hotel''s financial operations, ensure asset security, report to GMs and owners on financial status, and recommend strategies to enhance profitability. The role also involves being the primary contact for all financial and accounting issues with owners, auditors, and regulatory agencies.Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities include:Managing daily activities, planning, and setting performance goals for the finance team.Training and motivating staff to meet revenue goals, providing necessary tools and market data.Promoting teamwork and quality service through communication with department heads.Using financial analysis and market information to anticipate needs, identify issues, and recommend actions.Developing monthly forecasts, conducting performance reviews, and providing strategic guidance.Creating annual budgets and supporting department reviews for cost-saving opportunities.Overseeing payroll accuracy and timeliness.Analyzing ROI for capital projects and assessing their outcomes.Maximizing cash flow through effective controls on inventory, credit, disbursements, and deposits.Reviewing rates and participating in sales strategies.Qualifications and Skills Required:Ability to build relationships and partner across all organizational levels.Excellent communication skills to foster trust and accountability.Organized, adaptable, and capable of navigating unstructured situations.Significant experience as a commercially focused Finance Manager.Experience in the hotel sector is advantageous but not essential.Proven stakeholder engagement and influence skills.Full Australian work rights.What We Offer:We provide competitive salaries, benefits, and extensive training.
