Application Deadline: 10th June, 2025 Make an Impact as a Payroll Officer at MSWA At MSWA, were dedicated to delivering personalised care and support to individuals living with neurological conditions including MS, Parkinsons, Huntingtons, Motor Neuron Disease, Acquired Brain Injury, and Stroke. Were currently seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our team. About the role and Key Responsibilities Team Support: Act as an approachable and proactive team member, assisting managers, employees, and colleagues with administrative tasks in a friendly and efficient manner. Data Maintenance & Cleanup: Liaise with key personnel (e.g., Payroll Manager, Project Delivery Manager, and Payroll Officers) to ensure data integrity in the payroll systems, including verifying employee details and correcting any inconsistencies. Employee Record Management: Maintain and organise employee records, including processing updates related to terminations, benefits, and other employment details (e.g., superannuation portal and employee master data in payroll system). Parental Leave Administration: Support the accurate recording and processing of parental leave requests, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Workers Compensation Review: Conduct a full procedural review, with initial oversight at the Manager/HOD level to align processes with best practices and compliance requirements. General Administrative Duties: Assist with reporting, documentation management, and other administrative tasks that contribute to payroll operations and overall efficiency. This is a 6-month, part-time contract based at our Belmont Centre. Were open to applicants seeking school-friendly hours. About you Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and data management. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to be organised, prioritise work, and manage time effectively. Ability to work independently while coordinating with relevant stakeholders and across teams. The ability to approach the role with energy and enthusiasm. Proficiency in HR systems (e.g., Hr3) and other relevant information systems. Able to learn new systems and processes quickly. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with intermediate skills in MS Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs. Desirable Experience working in a Payroll, Finance, or People & Culture environment.
