Our client is seeking a Senior Architect to join their team as part of their succession planning strategy, with a view to becoming the face of this established practice.This role will have a focus on client management, team empowerment and leadership. From an Architectural perspective, you must have the technical overview to ensure quality is maintained, be a natural mentor and have solid contract administration experience.In terms of your soft skills, youll be joining a small, friendly, diverse team and they value those who are reliable, dependable and loyal.We see this aspiring individual as a Senior Project Architect with expertise across all stages of projects but a focus on project documentation and delivery. An essential component will be your natural passion for leadership and mentoring the next generation of Architects, designers and technical support. Youll be a natural communicator with the ability to motivate and inspire a team, and to manage and coordinate clients, consultants, authorities and builders.Required Skills and Experience:Registered Architect10+ years of postgraduate experience within AustraliaSolid experience designing and delivering industrial and commercial buildingsSkilled at managing and coordinating project documentation and deliveryHighly proficient on AutoCAD (documentation involved but not a drafting role)Able to work on several, similar scale projects at the same timeExceptional technical and on-site construction knowledgeWilling to travel intrastate/interstate monthly for project site visits (13 days)Strong communication, interpersonal and time management skillsCapable of managing multiple stakeholders and fast-paced deadlinesProactive, detail-oriented and highly collaborativeOur client, an established Architectural practice on the eastern fringe of Melbourne''s CBD, delivers creative design solutions across all project typologies.
