About usThe Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) is responsible for training, educating and representing psychiatrists in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. The College is accredited by the Australian Medical Council (AMC) and the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) to deliver specialist medical education and training, and professional development programs. You can read more about the College here.About the roleThis is a fixed-term, full-time position from July 2025 to February 2026.This position supports the development and implementation of a diverse range of initiatives, projects and programs that support RANZCP members. The Project Officer, Membership Development will actively plan, coordinate and deliver identified project outputs to address the needs and expectations of RANZCP members, with the support of the Membership Engagement Committee (MEC), its sub-committees and working groups, and other representative committees and groups.This role will have a particular focus on:Supporting the delivery of the RANZCP Mentoring Program.Implementing recommendations from the RANZCP Membership and Trainee Engagement Strategies.Coordinating orientation activities and welcome packs for new trainees commencing the RANZCP Fellowship pathway in 2025.Implementing projects and actions that support members approaching or who have retired from practice.Working on a range of other projects or activities that support member engagement and development, and promote the value of RANZCP membership.What you''ll bringDemonstrated experience in project planning, coordination, and administration skills.Demonstrated experience in a similar role and/or arelevant tertiary qualification.Competence with the MS Office suite and database software.Knowledge or understanding of the Australasian health system context.Background in membership or nonprofit organisations is advantageous, as is an interest in contributing to improvements in mental healthcare.Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or the right to work in Australia.Successful candidates must complete and pass a National Police Check before commencing employment.Some of whats on offer:A Total Remuneration Package (TRP) of up to $81,755 is on offer, inclusive of leave loading and 12% superannuation.Hybrid working model.A paid day off each month for full-time employees (pro-rata for part-timers).How to applyTo apply, please submit your resume and a cover letter outlining how you meet the requirements of the role as a single document via the Expr3ss link.
