These statistics inspired us to create Spring Forward, where we bring together professionals from allied health and education to provide play-based early development services and parent education.The opportunity:As a Speech and Language Consultant, you will advise clients on speech and language development best practices, collaborating with educators, professionals, and parents to create tailored early development plans. Your role will include strategic planning, training, and program development, extending beyond direct therapy. You do not need to be a registered therapist to apply; this role suits professionals with substantial knowledge and experience, even if their registration has lapsed.Position OverviewConduct new client interviews and develop assessment plans (online, onsite, multiple departments)Oversee and generate intervention plans for clients to implement at home, school, or in the centre with therapy assistantsOrganize clients into groups and parent education seminarsManage clients ensuring a clear, multidisciplinary 6-month early intervention plan in collaboration with other consultantsSecure client commitment, schedule appointments, and convert intakes into servicesRun webinars and seminars online as neededSupervise and mentor junior team membersConduct parent consultations and client appointmentsComplete client reports (home programs, progress, assessments)Ensure high-quality, evidence-based, ethical careAssess, set goals, plan, and implement personalized intervention plansDevelop goals with the multidisciplinary teamManage weekly schedule to meet KPIsCreate therapy plans and home programs for clientsConduct parent education sessionsContribute expertise to the multidisciplinary teamProvide in-services to team and community partnersAdminister clinical assessmentsPromote early development and parent support servicesEngage in weekly supervision and professional developmentContribute to content creation and social media engagementMinimum Required Education/TrainingBachelor''s degree in Speech Pathology (registration not required)Working with children check (paid)Police check (clear)First aid certificateCPR certificationIdeal CandidateWe seek individuals who will champion our mission and thrive in our innovative, self-motivated environment.
