Our team comprises professionals from allied health to education, working collaboratively to provide play-based services and parent education.The OpportunityAs a Speech and Language Consultant, you will leverage your knowledge to advise clients on speech and language development, collaborate with educators, professionals, and parents, and design tailored early development plans. Your role extends beyond direct therapy to strategic planning, training, and program development. You do not need to be a registered therapist to apply, as this role is suitable for experienced professionals whose registration may have lapsed.Position OverviewConduct client interviews and develop assessment plans (online, onsite, across departments)Oversee and create intervention plans for clients to implement at home, school, or in the centre with therapy assistantsFacilitate client groups and parent education seminarsManage clients ensuring a clear, multidisciplinary 6-month early intervention plan is developed collaborativelySecure client commitment, schedule appointments, and convert intakes into servicesRun webinars and seminars onlineSupervise and educate junior team membersConduct parent consultations and client appointmentsComplete reports, including home programs, progress, and assessmentsEnsure high-quality, evidence-based, ethical careAssess, set goals, plan, and implement personalized intervention plansDevelop goals with the multidisciplinary teamManage weekly schedules to meet KPIsCreate therapy plans and home programs for clients and assistantsConduct parent education sessionsContribute expertise to the multidisciplinary team and provide in-servicesAdminister clinical assessments (standardized and non-standardized)Promote early development and parent support servicesEngage in weekly supervision and professional developmentContribute content for social media engagementMinimum RequirementsBachelor''s degree in Speech Pathology (registration not required)Working with Children Check (paid)Police check (clear)First aid certificateCPR certificationWhat We Are Looking ForWe seek individuals who will champion our mission and thrive in our team-oriented, innovative environment.
