EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: Business Development OfficerThe JMS Group of Companies was first establishedin 2009 with the vision of supplying specialist services across a multitude of industries including mining, civil, gas and building and construction.JMS Group continues to expand with an established background across a multitude of trades and a reputation of excellence and precision through the continual management of skills and experience.We now have an exciting full-time opportunity for a Business Development Officer to join our Rockhampton office and play a key role in supporting the growth and expansion of our operationsparticularly in labour hire across the mining and local sectors.About the RoleThis is a dynamic role where you will be responsible for building long-term professional relationships with clients, identifying new opportunities, and delivering workforce solutions tailored to their needs. A key part of the role is developing and sourcing labour hire opportunitiesboth local and FIFO & DIDO for mining and civil projects across Queensland.Key Responsibilities Build and establish a portfolio of new clients while growing relationships with existing ones. Identify and pursue new labour hire and project-based opportunities. Engage face-to-face with clients to understand their business needs and operational workforce requirements. Work closely with the internal team to align labour availability with upcoming project demands. Monitor labour trends and market movements to capitalise on emerging opportunities. Maintain a strong understanding of industry changes and competitor activity.
