Demonstratingsafe, efficient operation and maintenance practices of Shoalhaven Hydro Power Scheme you will work towards maximising flexible, safe and reliable production of renewable energy. The position is part of a small multi-skilled team operating in a dynamic environment.Your responsibilities:Lead a team to operate and maintain the plant as required in a safe and reliable mannerImplementation, review and execution of equipment strategies, O&M plans and support inventory optimisationActively contributing as an integral part of the Power Station TeamManaging and working with contractorsProvide standby services outside of normal working hoursIs This You?You will demonstrate a strong work ethic and an excellent safety-first problem-solving mindset. You will also be a solid communicator (both electronic & verbal) with experience working within a multidisciplined team.Additionally, to be shortlisted you will have:Exceptional and demonstrable people leadership to drive a positive and inclusive workplace culture as a team leader.Mechanical or Electrical Trade level qualifications with considerable post trade and / or equivalent power station or similar external heavy industry experienceDemonstrated problem-solving, fault-finding skills and experienceExperience with computerised enterprise Management of Work Systems (SAP preferred)Willingness to perform standby and call in dutiesHighly Regarded:Experience with Computers and MS Office softwareProven experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in the SAP environment.Management of Change experience.Continuous improvement skills and experienceDiploma in Engineering similar qualification, or greaterExperience with Permit to work systemsSo, why join us?
