This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to lead a team of highly skilled technicians, supporting clients through technical expertise, service delivery, and a strong customer-first mindset.The OpportunityAs the Service Team Leader, you will play a key hands-on leadership role within our service team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to technicians while overseeing the coordination and delivery of service activities. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Devonport service team, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality outcomes for our clients.Our team delivers a wide range of field services including:Electrical and control system installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshootingInstrumentation configuration, calibration and supportIndustrial communication systems testing and troubleshootingServicing of electrical equipment including hazardous area workTechnical and engineering supportWhat Youll BringInstrumentation knowledge and experienceProficient in the use of computers and standard software toolsComfortable using business systems (e.g. MYOB) for quoting and project tracking.Proven leadership and team coordination experienceA strong safety culture and demonstrated ability to lead safe work practicesHigh-level communication and interpersonal skillsExperience in managing customer relationships and expectationsStrong organisational and time management skillsSound fault-finding and problem-solving abilitiesCurrent Drivers LicenseHighly Regarded ExperienceWhite Card, Working at Heights, Confined Space, High-Risk Licenses (EWP, LF)Experience in industrial or manufacturing environmentsFamiliarity with PLCs, RTUs, SCADA systems and VFDsFibre optic and CAT6 networkingUPS systems maintenanceWhats on OfferCompetitive remuneration package, commensurate with experienceFully maintained company vehicleTools insurance, company phone and laptopOpportunities for training and professional developmentSupportive team culture and flexible work environmentWork-life balance encouraged and supportedAt Cromarty Automation we value our people.
