Its a hands-on role that combines leadership, technical know-how, and a strong focus on safety.FIFO from Perth 8:6 roster.Key Responsibilities:Provide leadership and direction to a team of maintenance technicians and mechanics, ensuring the workshop operates safely, efficiently, and effectively.Plan and implement maintenance schedules, manage repair priorities, and coordinate equipment availability to support operational requirements.Uphold safety and quality standards by ensuring all maintenance and repair activities are performed to regulatory and company expectations.Oversee spare parts inventory, including procurement and restocking, to reduce equipment downtime and maintain workflow continuity.Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring all team members adhere to established protocols and procedures.Generate and present regular reports detailing maintenance activities, equipment condition, and overall workshop performance.Mentor and develop team members, identifying training needs and supporting continuous professional growth and capability development.Requirements:Current & Valid Drivers Licence (HR Preferred)National Police Clearance (within 12 months validity site dependant)Trade qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Technician).Proven experience as a Workshop Supervisor in the mining or heavy equipment industry.Strong leadership and people management skills.Commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations.Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.Fulltime, Permanent Opportunity (Annual Leave & Personal Leave eligible)Fortnightly Pay.Salary Sacrifice & Novated LeasesNib Health Insurance Discount of 12%Excellent employee referral program, Bring the Crew with you!
