Both technical and people skills are required.This is an exciting opportunity to lead dynamic and highly competent teams in a growing and nationally significant market to deliver high quality, cost effective and innovative professional services.About YouYou will have significant knowledge and demonstrated experience in the hydrometric and environmental data industry that is recognised by client organisations.Demonstrated business management skills and experience will help you lead the service lines and business portfolio areas in a commercial environment.You will have demonstrated leadership and successful business development experience in a professional services organisation. Working collaboratively with team members and colleagues across DCCEEW, government and the water industry to develop and sustain excellent relationships is essential in this role.The successful applicant will be able to help maintain and raise the profile of the Department by:Effectively cross marketing the activities of the Group state-wide and nationally;Broadening the client base to ensure financial viability; andMaintaining and developing key linkages with other areas of the Department, Government and the water industry.For more information read the full Role Description:Manager Environmental DataWho We AreThe Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water(DCCEEW) works to protect the states environment and heritage.
