$106,534 to $117,716 + 11.5% SuperFixed Term - Full Time - until 30 June 2026We offer a wide range of flexible working arrangements to suit everyoneRole SummaryThe Fleet Maintenance Lead plays a critical leadership role within the Fleet team and broader Assets team, responsible for leading the coordination and delivery of planned and unplanned maintenance across the VICSES fleet. The role leads a team of Fleet Maintenance Officers and Fleet Rectification Officers to ensure efficient repair and servicing of vehicles in alignment with VICSES''s operational and safety standards.This position is pivotal in maintaining service readiness and compliance with National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) obligations. It ensures timely triage and response to unplanned repairs, directs the servicing agent in meeting scheduled maintenance requirements, and monitors performance against key performance indicators (KPIs). The Fleet Maintenance Lead proactively addresses capacity constraints by sourcing supplementary suppliers as needed and ensures clear and timely communication with units and internal stakeholders regarding maintenance activities and vehicle availability.Who We AreVictoria State Emergency Service (VICSES) is a volunteer-based emergency service. To minimise the impact of emergencies when they occur and strengthen the community''s capacity to recover swiftly and safely, VICSES focuses on working with communities and partners in building resilience to achieve more aware, informed and prepared communities. We support them to understand their risk and the relevance of taking action before, during and after emergency events.As the largest road rescue network in Australia we have specialist teams that provide a 24/7 response to road accident and trauma incidents.
