For more information, click here .Role reports to: Business ManagerLocation: AustraliaWhat you will doThe National Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of account relationships with key customer personnel, promotion management, account planning, category analysis and ownership of the category reviews and strategy days for your categories. You will work with colleagues across the organisation to bring category and shopper insights to the customer that result in joint plans being developed that will achieve growth.This is a chance to demonstrate your relationship management and influencing skills to drive our business to greater heights! As part of a multifaceted and results-oriented team motivated by innovative ideas and category excellence you will:Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal partnersEvaluate ongoing sales performance and recommend improvements to deliver sales and profitabilityWork alongside the Business Manager with internal category and marketing teams to craft and influence strategic plansOwn the category review process, with support of the Business Manager to deliver improved visibility and availability of your product range.Manage the trade spend budget for your portfolio to maximise retail sales while keeping within budgetPlan and deliver an annual promotion and activation calendar to deliver optimum value within your portfolioEnsure the field team is adequately briefed to support national activityWith limited guidance, execute strategies to drive the joint category growth and deliver joint category plansProvide accurate stock forecasts to ensure stable supplyPerform routine administrative account tasks and handle account issues as they ariseQualificationsWhat we are looking forDegree in Business/Accounting or a related fieldDemonstrated experience in account management with a strong ability to establish rapport and build collaborative relationships.Experience in account management will be advantageousSolid understanding of category management and shopper principlesStrong presentation, negotiation and selling skillsStrong Sales analytical skills utilising promotional databases, Aztec, tableauExcellent written and verbal communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
