Learning and Development Manager to join our team on a Permanent Part-Time basis.Manage learning and development requirements for our facility caring for Mental Health and Day Surgery patients.About The RoleYou will hold a key leadership and management role within the hospital and will be accountable for the efficient and effective management of clinical and non-clinical education and competency programs across the hospital. The role encompasses planning, implementing and evaluating practices, processes and services related to Hospital wide education. The role requires working with and supporting all managers in achieving excellence in care delivery and service delivery in line with best practice and legislative requirements. Works closely with the Executive team to improve procedural service provision and achieve departmental and Hospital objectives.In this role, you will report to the Director of Clinical Services.About YouEssential CriteriaCurrent relevant registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of AustraliaExtensive clinical skills and 3+ years experience in clinical education / managementCertificate IV in Workplace Training & AssessmentKnowledge of methods of assisting and facilitating learningExperience in successfully delivering informal and formal education programsDemonstrated ability to effectively apply adult learning principlesUnderstanding of accreditation process in relation to education portfolioEffective time management, communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to work effectively in a team environment & independently as requiredAbility to apply research findings to clinical practiceAdvanced computer literacy in MS Office programs DesirablePeri-operative nursing experienceDesirable CriteriaPost graduate studies in peri-operative nursingQualification in Education and/or health services managementPrevious management / leadership experiencePrevious experience in developing, delivering and evaluating adulty training and educationGeneral knowledge of adult learning principlesRemuneration$62.29 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.About The HospitalRamsay Clinic Caloundra/Caloundra Private Day Hospital is owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, a global operator of private hospitals and primary care clinics with 72 Australian sites employing over 34,000 people.
