Join a market leader in civil construction, working with major clients such as Fraser Coast Regional Council and HQ Plantations.What we offerJob Security: Long-term employment with a strong pipeline of workFlexible & Family-Friendly: Monday to Friday, early finish Fridays, rostered days off, and 3 weeks leave over Christmas/New YearSupportive Team: Work with a dedicated teamRelocation Assistance: Available for the right candidateAffordable Living: Maryborough offers a relaxed lifestyle near Hervey Bay, KGari (Fraser Island), and Rainbow BeachAbout the RoleAs our Procurement Specialist (Civil Construction), you will:Source, procure, and manage stock for a variety of civil construction projectsAssess engineering plans to determine construction material quantities and inform procurement requirementsLead procurement processes and ensure compliance with internal controls and industry standardsLiaise with suppliers and stakeholders to align procurement with project timelinesSupport project tenders with material and cost analysisEvaluate suppliers, negotiate prices, and maintain supplier registersEnsure compliance with safety, environmental requirements, and regulatory standardsEnsure internal systems and inventory is up to dateKey RequirementsRelevant qualifications and or a minimum 3 years experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related fieldExcellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skillsExperience in civil, domestic, or commercial construction (highly regarded)Current QLD Drivers License (forklift and MR truck license an advantage)QLD Blue/White Construction Card (or eligibility to obtain)Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety legislationWillingness to upskill and participate in trainingAbility to travel locally for site visits and inspectionsHow to ApplyIf you are ready to take on this leadership role with a respected, community-focused company, please apply via Seek by submitting your resume and cover letter through the Apply Now button.All applications will be treated with strict confidentiality.
