Country living with a meaningful career pathBathurst Hospital staff, clinicians and the Western NSW Local Health District have provided valuable input to the project team which has helped inform the planning and design and will continue to provide input as the facility is built and refurbished.This is a great opportunity to be involved at the ground level in the redevelopment and service design of this project.Bathurstprovides allied health, ambulatory care, coronary care, emergency medicine (26,000 presentations a year), intensive care, general medicine, mental health drug & alcohol, obstetrics & gynaecology, oncology, paediatrics, pathology, radiology, rehabilitation and surgery services.The service alsohas active hospital in the home and primary community health services to the surrounding townships.Bathurst Health Service has a strong partnership with the University of Western Sydney and Charles Sturt University, conducting research and providing training opportunities for medical students. Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist, and/or overseas trained specialist via the appropriate International Medical Graduate pathway.2. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.3. Proven ability to communicate effectively through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.4. Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.5. Be available to participate in an on-call roster as required and to respond on site within a reasonable time.6.
