A career at ASC is like no other, delivering a deeper purpose we can all be proud of.About the OpportunityReporting to the Workers Compensation Manager, the Workers Compensation Claims Officer provides support and assistance to deliver effective claims management in accordance with the Return-to-Work Act (SA) 2014 and regulations, ASC policies and processes, and the code of conduct for self-insured employers.This national role is based at ASC North and provides coverage across both Osborne, South Australia and ASC West in Henderson, Western Australia.ResponsibilitiesProvide workers compensation advice and support across the business.Liaise with production management, People & Culture, and health centres to ensure effective case management.Assist the Workers Compensation Manager with day-to-day file management.Respond to queries related to workers compensation matters.Support the processing of claim determinations and account payments.Communicate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate claims management.About youAt least 2 years experience in claims management. Experience in a self-insured employer in SA is highly desirable.Knowledge of the Return-to-Work Act (SA) 2014, and Self Insurance requirements in South Australia and Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act (WA) 2023.Ability to manage priorities and utilise time management skills to achieve objectives and manage workloads.Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication, complemented by strong interpersonal and organisational leadership capabilities.Strong attention to detail and focus on quality/accuracy and responsiveness.Ability to engage with multiple stakeholders across the business.EligibilityThis role requires a current National Police Check.
