Opportunity Details Type: Full-Time Status: Ongoing; Non-Ongoing Employment Type: Specified Term Duration: 12 months with possible extension and potential to become ongoing Merit List or Pool Use Applicants suitable for the role but not offered the current vacancy may be placed in a merit list or pool. Position: Client Service Officer Migration (CSOs-Migration) Salary: Total package $86,575 - $94,368 per annum, including 15.4% superannuation (base salary $75,022 - $81,775) Locations: Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney Position Overview CSOs-Migration provide case management support to Judges and Registrars by triaging migration applications, ensuring compliance with Court rules, and managing frontline inquiries from Court users. Responsibilities include administrative case management, assessing documentation, updating case systems, supporting Court proceedings, invoicing, and stakeholder liaison. Key Duties Respond to inquiries from Court users and stakeholders Manage migration eLodgment, emails, calls, and in-person inquiries Provide procedural advice on migration matters Manage court listings and courtroom requirements Assess documentation for completeness and compliance Maintain accurate case data entry Support Judges and Registrars with case management Generate invoices and process migration documents Support litigants and practitioners Assist with template responses and knowledge management Perform other duties as required Qualifications and Attributes High professionalism and initiative Flexibility and adaptability Excellent communication skills Ability to interpret complex rules Strong database and records management skills Selection Criteria Experience in frontline client service Clerical skills with high accuracy Interpersonal skills and cultural competence Knowledge of Court procedures or ability to learn Initiative and teamwork Proficiency with technology and case management systems Understanding of APS values, conduct, diversity, and safety principles Additional Notes Employment is subject to the Public Service Act 1999, including Australian citizenship, security clearance, and probation.
