They embody our core values: Safe always, Service first, Love what we do, Work as one, and Own it, all aimed at connecting people with their world safely.The Role and The TeamThis is a rare and exciting opportunity for experienced Emergency Service Managers to join Airservices Australia as a Line Leader within our Aviation Rescue Fire Fighting Service (ARFFS) Team.Reporting to the Head of Aerodrome Services, you will be responsible for the safety, leadership, and performance of the ARFFS teams at your station, including workforce planning, managing budgets and operational costs, and delivering services effectively to clients. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Ensuring compliance with regulatory and organisational standardsUpholding operational excellence and workplace safetyManaging team engagement and performance, addressing conduct issues as neededOptimising resources to meet operational requirements within set timeframesIdentifying and mitigating operational risksSetting performance expectations and providing coachingMaintaining financial oversight and implementing cost-saving initiativesFor the full Position Description, please click on the link below.To succeed in this role, you will bring extensive people management experience, especially in emergency response environments, along with strong commercial acumen. You are a natural leader who thrives under pressure and can build and manage an engaged, efficient workforce.
