We are on a mission to be the world''s best in ecosystem management.We have an amazing workplace culture where we take what we do seriously, but we are also strongly committed to having fun and supporting each other at work.Join our rapidly growing team!The Opportunity: Bush Regeneration SupervisorWere seeking a skilled Bush Regenerator Supervisor to join our Central Queensland team, based in Rockhamptonthe gateway to diverse landscapes, pristine beaches, national parks, and rich cultural heritage. In this role, you will work closely with our project managers to oversee day-to-day on-ground operations at our bush regeneration sites and mentor our teams to deliver impactful results.Key Responsibilities:Plan and supervise field teams in weed control on a variety of sites that include remote natural areas and industrial projects.Conduct various weed control techniques including application of herbicide using best practice techniques and following legislation.Provide technical support for identifying native vegetation and managing noxious and environmental weeds.Address operational issues such as equipment requirements and safety (OH&S) concerns.Communicate with external stakeholders, clients, partners and Ecosure field teamsLead revegetation activities, focusing on planting native flora.Support additional bush regeneration efforts as required.Proactively and positively communicate and engage with our clients and stakeholders.Your Qualifications and Experience:Minimum of a Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystems Management or equivalent qualification.Proven experience leading field teams in ecological restoration projects.Strong identification skills for Central Queensland flora, including both native and exotic species across different ecosystems.Demonstrated experience in applying a range of ecological restoration approaches and revegetation techniques.High physical fitness and the ability to handle the demands of fieldwork.Commitment to safety and promoting Ecosures safety culture.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Valid Manual Drivers Licence and experience operating 4WD vehicles.Comfortable working in and navigating remote areas.Essential Requirements (or willingness to obtain):Police CheckChemCert or ACDC certificationFirst Aid/CPR certificationChainsaw ticketCompetent with using computer systems and apps.What We Offer:Training and Development: Comprehensive training to equip you with the skills needed to succeed in bush regeneration.Career Growth: Opportunities for career progression, with pathways to take on greater responsibilities and leadership roles.We value our team and have developed an Employee Benefits Program to support, empower and reward our people.Here are some of the benefits we offer our full-time employees:Uniforms, tools, equipment and PPE all providedAnnual skin checksCelebrating birthdays in style with a paid day off$200 towards health and wellbeingAnnual Company SummitEcosure encourages and values diversity and inclusion in the workplace as we are an Equal Employment Opportunities employer.
