The Team:The Sports Partnerships Team engages with key sport sector stakeholders, primarily National Sport Organisations (NSOs) and National Sporting Organisations for People with Disability (NSODs), to support building their integrity and anti-doping capabilities, meeting compliance requirements, and coordinating responses to integrity threats. The team builds and maintains a comprehensive understanding of each stakeholder, identifies risks, challenges, and opportunities for strengthening capability, and ensures all areas of Sport Integrity Australia are informed with a coordinated engagement approach.About the Western Australian Institute of Sport (WAIS):The Western Australian Institute of Sport (WAIS) aims to enable Western Australian athletes to achieve international sporting success. Its strategy is guided by three principles:World Stage - Focus on preparing athletes for international competitionAthlete Care - Prioritize athlete health, wellbeing, and safetyPartnerships - Collaborate to enhance Western Australia''s high-performance sport systemWAIS adopted the National Integrity Framework on 1 January 2024 and is cultivating an organisational culture based on the Win Well philosophy.The Role:Sport Integrity Australia seeks an Integrity and Safeguarding Manager to be embedded within WAIS under a 12-month secondment.The manager will develop, educate, and embed integrity policies, procedures, and practices across all levels of WAIS, oversee a best-practice integrity framework, and support the development of related processes, policies, and education aligned with the National Integrity Framework (NIF).Key duties include:Guide WAIS in integrating the NIF throughout the organisation.Develop initiatives supporting integrity policies, procedures, and practices.Support the delivery of integrity education to staff, athletes, volunteers, and stakeholders.Review and develop procedures and guidelines related to WAIS''s integrity requirements and the NIF.Maintain operational relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including NSO Integrity Managers.Ensure the WAIS Integrity team is embedded within the Daily Training Environment (DTE) and familiar to athletes and staff.Provide strategic advice to the People and Integrity Director and CEO.Manage the WAIS complaint handling and integrity management systems.Case manage specific integrity complaints or reports.Assist in preparing meeting materials for the WAIS Integrity and Safeguarding Committee.Lead education and training programs on the NIF and related responsibilities.Develop and implement a plan for the Principles of Child Safe organisations.Manage programs aligned with the WAIS "Well Plan" for integrity and safeguarding.Perform other duties as required.Accountabilities include:Adherence to the Secondment Agreement and relevant legislation.Maintain confidentiality.Work safely and promote safety for oneself and others. #J-18808-Ljbffr
