You will help deliver on the Facultys commitment to aligning our offerings with the evolving needs of students, industry, and global health priorities.About the RoleReporting to the Pro Vice-Chancellor, this role provides strategic leadership and oversight for the design, implementation, and delivery of a complex, high-impact program of work. As a key driver of the Facultys Align and Advance initiative, the Program Manager will lead major priorities spanning new course development, research partnership growth, and comprehensive curriculum review.Strategic Alignment and New Course DevelopmentOversee the administrative and strategic planning for new course offeringsEnsure alignment with market needs, accreditation requirements, and industry trendsIdentify and engage a wide range of stakeholdersIntegrate infrastructure planning into course developmentHealth Research Partnership DevelopmentDevelop governance and financial models for research partnershipsIdentify sustainable funding mechanismsEstablish key performance metrics and success indicatorsComprehensive Course Structure ReviewDrive curriculum innovation and interdisciplinary collaborationEnhance the student experience through streamlined structuresEvaluate resource needs, financial sustainability, and staffingThis position requires a strong blend of strategic foresight, sophisticated stakeholder engagement, and the ability to navigate and align diverse internal and external requirements. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the Facultys future direction by managing critical relationships and leading innovative planning and program delivery that supports our long-term goals.SELECTION CRITERIAWhat Were Looking ForQualificationsPost-graduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant management experience and/or education/training.Knowledge, Experience and SkillsDemonstrated high-level planning, management, and leadership skillsDemonstrated commercial acumen and ability to conceptualise, develop, and review organisational strategiesDemonstrated high-level interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence others and build strong relationshipsDemonstrated high-level verbal communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder concerns and balance complex requirementsDemonstrated high-level written communication skills, including the ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive reports, proposals and submissionsDemonstrated commitment to, and experience in, promoting, managing, and implementing significant changeDesirable:Previous experience in a tertiary education environmentRole RequirementsAs this is a fixed-term contract, you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role.
