Located in Perth CBD''s vibrant cultural and business district, the award-winning 4-star Novotel Perth Murray Street is ideal for all types of travel in Western Australia.We are seeking an experienced full-time Maintenance Supervisor to join our team.Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will oversee daily maintenance operations, manage staff, ensure safety compliance, conduct inspections, and coordinate repairs across the hotel. You will also focus on preventive maintenance, staff training, and guest satisfaction by minimizing disruptions.Role responsibilities:Support the Chief Engineer as the 2IC of the maintenance department.Supervise and train the maintenance team, ensuring compliance with SOPs and WHS regulations.Conduct site inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.Prioritize and oversee maintenance requests for timely resolution.Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.Manage external contractors to minimize guest disruption.Oversee building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and fire safety.Manage departmental budgets for cost efficiency.Deliver excellent customer service and maintain professionalism.Lead staff performance and implement corrective actions as needed.Work weekends and public holidays as required.Candidate requirements:Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Handyman or in a similar role.Experience in hospitality maintenance is preferred.Trade qualification or relevant industry experience.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently while ensuring operational efficiency.Why work for Accor?As one of the world''s largest hospitality companies with over 5400 hotels in 110+ countries, we offer endless career development opportunities.Benefits include:Global accommodation and F&B discounts.Access to our modern training platform with industry-focused courses.Recognition for service milestones and anniversaries.Our commitment:We promote diversity and inclusion, offering adjustments during recruitment if needed.
