We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual who can support and drive HSE culture on site while providing support and coordination of safety and environmental practices, systems, and procedures on the project.This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career on Victorias largest Infrastructure project and leave a lasting legacy for the city of Melbourne for years to come.We want you to be with us for the long-term, so providing you with rich career experiences and ongoing development is our priority.This role will be accountable for:Supporting the implementation and monitoring of processes and programs to provide a safe working environment for all personnelConducting health and safety audits and inspections as per audit schedules and risk profile of the worksSupport delivery team and ensure compliance to the project construction documentation processes; provide specialist advice during its development and monitor implementation in the fieldUndertake regular safety monitoring activities, ensuring compliance to safety management systems, contractor agreements and contracts, relevant legislation, and business requirements.Minimum requirements for this role are:Certificate IV or higher in Safety or related fieldExperience in Safety roles in high-Risk construction.Previous experience working with a tier 1 or 2 will be highly desirable.Extensive experience of workplace and contractor safety management processes within complex environments.Well-developed understanding in the interpretation of Occupational Health and Safety legislation.Demonstrated experience supporting or leading incident investigations including the development of reports and close out of corrective actionsExperience in undertaking safety inspections and other safety monitoring activities including the development of audit reports and close out of corrective actions.What we offer:Ongoing career support and development opportunitiesGenerous parental leaveQuarterly social eventsReward and recognition programFlexible working arrangementsIf this opportunity is of interest to you, please click on the Apply now button to register your interest and please also subscribe to Job Alerts to be notified of upcoming opportunities with CPB. #J-18808-Ljbffr
