DescriptionWe are looking for a talented Field Service Technician Electrical Power Generation in Darwin. This role involves working as part of a team of field-based technicians specializing in repairing and maintaining high horsepower, prime and standby generators.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:Working on generator sets and engine control panels, performing scheduled and unscheduled service works.Troubleshooting and diagnostics on engines/generators up to 3350KVA.Modifying wiring looms/diagrams.Commissioning new generators/systems, transfer switches, and master controllers.Collaborating closely with the Mechanical Service team.Completing all work with a high focus on safety.Participating in an on-call roster for after-hours support.ResponsibilitiesTo be successful in this role, you will need the following:Be a trade-qualified Grade A Electrician.Previous experience in Power Generation products is highly regarded but not essential.In-depth understanding of control systems (including PLC and relay logic).Ability to interpret electrical schematics.Strong PC skills.Excellent teamwork and customer service skills.A current, valid drivers license.QualificationsDarwin PowerGen Electrician #J-18808-Ljbffr
