Job Description

We are a leading player in the RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off) shipping and logistics industry, with a growing presence in national and international vehicle transport. Based in Campbellfield, we are seeking an experienced and process-driven Organisation and Method Analyst to evaluate, refine, and improve the efficiency of our logistics and administrative operations.This role is central to driving smarter systems across our end-to-end shipping operations including vehicle scheduling, documentation workflows, depot coordination, and carrier management ensuring we continue to meet client expectations and operational targets in a fast-paced RoRo logistics environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse and evaluate current systems and structures:Assess RoRo-specific workflows such as port clearance, terminal handling, loading/unloading processes, and vehicle tracking systems. Identify where bottlenecks occur and how logistics, admin, or communications structures can be improved.Collaborate with staff across all levels:Observe and consult with transport coordinators, depot staff, drivers, and port authorities to understand real-time challenges in RoRo transport such as documentation delays, space management on vessels, and customs coordination.Identify and solve organisational problems:Recommend strategic improvements such as digital tracking integration, streamlined documentation approval processes, and automated dispatch systems that address inefficiencies in vehicle handovers and port logistics.Conduct work studies:Deeply examine the methods and procedures used for bookings, vehicle inspections, damage reporting, and cargo movement through depots and ports. Compare these against industry best practices and propose smarter, scalable alternatives.Record and analyse operational documentation:Review existing manuals, checklists, vehicle manifests, job descriptions (e.g., for RoRo drivers or port clerks), and workflow charts to ensure they reflect actual practices and support compliance with international shipping standards.Prepare and recommend proposals:Develop clear, actionable improvement plans such as redefining the handover procedure between depots and vessels, enhancing coordination with port terminal systems, or adjusting team roles to reduce redundancy.Support implementation of changes:Help roll out new systems or processes, update training materials, prepare revised documentation, and conduct staff briefings to ensure seamless adoption of improved workflows.Review operational compliance:Monitor ongoing adherence to updated RoRo-specific procedures (e.g., vehicle inspection logs, cargo stowage protocols, and export document timelines) and advise on areas where teams may be deviating from best practices.What Were Looking ForAt least 3 years experience in logistics, shipping coordination and organisational analysis is mandatory.
