Facilitator Eco-Enzyme and Gardening Hub for WellbeingAdd expected salary to your profile for insightsFacilitator Eco-Enzyme and Gardening Hub for WellbeingMake a Difference in Your Community - Are you passionate about supporting migrant and refugee communities, promoting mental health, and creating sustainable, hands-on learning opportunities?Work Arrangement: Fixed term, Part-TimeSalary: $37.35 Level 3.1Townsville Multicultural Support Group (TMSG) is seeking a dedicated Facilitator to lead our Eco-Enzyme and Gardening Hub for Wellbeing an innovative, Queensland Mental Health Commission-funded program that strengthens mental health and community connections through gardening, sustainability, and storytelling activities.This role is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and skilled community facilitator who wants to empower newly arrived refugees, migrant women, and CALD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) communities to build confidence, wellbeing, and belonging.The RoleIn this role, you will lead and facilitate weekly gardening sessions, eco-enzyme workshops, sharing circles, and community events that promote mental health, connection, and sustainability, while actively engaging CALD communities to build participation in an inclusive, welcoming environment. You will co-design and adapt activities based on community feedback, ensuring they are culturally appropriate and trauma-informed, while managing all aspects of program delivery, including reporting, compliance, budgeting, and volunteer coordination. Additionally, you will strengthen partnerships with local services and stakeholders to amplify the programs impact, all while upholding TMSGs core values of respect, inclusion, and zero harm, particularly when working with vulnerable individuals and children.About YouYou will bring proven experience working with CALD communities, especially refugees and those affected by trauma or mental health challenges, along with strong communication skills to engage participants and build trust. Your excellent organisational abilities will help you meet deadlines, manage program requirements, and report outcomes effectively, while your understanding of trauma-informed practices and passion for supporting community wellbeing will drive meaningful impact. Youll also bring digital literacy, compassion, and resilience, with highly valued qualifications including tertiary studies in relevant fields, multilingual abilities, and experience in launching or delivering community-based initiatives.About TMSGAt TMSG, youll join a passionate, multicultural team dedicated to making a real difference.
