Well train you in the specialized tourism software we use and how an award-winning caravan park operates.And although we are ideally seeking someone to fill an important and senior full-time position, we understand that flexibility matters. For the right applicant we are willing to discuss a part-time (3.5 4 days per week).Were looking for a sales and service champion with:Substantial experience in a customer-facing role and a genuine commitment to excellence in customer service (youll enjoy interacting with guests and actively looking for ways to continually improve the guest experience and exceed guest expectations);The ability to develop and implement innovative programmes, offers and activities for our guests that showcase the best of Castlemaine and the region, enhance the guest holiday experience and ensure we always offering a competitive, meaningful and memorable holiday experience for a broad customer base;The know-how to identify new business opportunities and to proactively drive sales across existing and new markets, including the groups and meetings market;The skills to work with our professional marketing team to promote quality guest experiences internally and externally and to update our online platforms with approved materials about our facilities, activities, offers and more;The flexibility and experience to assist with general administration and business responsibilities including occasional reception duties, budgeting, benchmarking, and working with the Operations Manager to update policies and procedures as required;The ability to work independently while demonstrating commitment to the team.Part-time will be considered for the right applicant.What we offer:Competitive renumeration and a sales-related annual bonus;On-the-job training in accommodation and tourism bookings systems, processes and platforms;The opportunity to attend tourism industry and BIG4 Holiday Parks forums and events;The opportunity to engage with the vibrant Castlemaine and Central Victoria business community;Regular social activity with the park owner and teamA beautiful workplace environment: a 2.75-hectare holiday park sitting alongside the Castlemaine Botanical GardensAn opportunity to play a leading role in the continued growth and development of an award-winning tourism business.If this sounds like you, apply now through Seek.
