As an organisation they are ambitious, agile, and adaptive.The Role As Innovation Broker, reporting to the General Manager Innovation, youll be managing a portfolio of R&D investments to support achievement of CRDCs strategic plan, Clever Cotton from prioritisation through to delivery.This will include:identification of research prioritiesbrokering partnershipsprocurement of research collaborationsdelivery, monitoring and review of project and program performanceThe portfolio will primarily be responsible for investments under the Adaptive Systems theme such as on-farm agronomy, biosecurity and insect management.The Person We are keen to hear from you if you possess the following:Qualifications in Agricultural Science or equivalent5+ years experience in agricultural research, crop production or agronomyProven experience in project development, negotiation and management in a relevant industry sector OR experience in innovation and commercialisation processesA good understanding of agricultural technology and its use in crop productionThe ability to build relationships and collaborate nationally and internationally with both public and private partnersAn entrepreneurial mindset and self-starter, with well developed presentation, communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to work flexibly and collaboratively with diverse stakeholdersAustralian citizenshipThis is a great role with a progressive R&D Corporation with a real focus on driving innovation for the cotton industry.
