As a security professional, your key role will be to deliver complex offensive security engagements and contribute to Macquaries security practices on both tactical and strategic levels. While Macquarie offers hybrid working arrangements, this role requires three days a week in one of our ANZ office locations. What role will you play? You will be responsible for designing, scoping, and executing penetration tests and supporting red and purple team engagements. This includes evaluating findings, reporting, and providing remediation advice. You will also work on improving security testing processes and mentoring junior team members. What you offer Hands-on experience in security testing or software development Strong theoretical knowledge in offensive security areas such as web application, mobile, infrastructure (including cloud and containers) security A willingness to learn and apply the latest offensive security tactics and techniques Ability to analyze vulnerabilities thoroughly and identify root causes Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences, including C-level executives Certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, OSWE, CPTS, CCT/CRT, BSCP, and experience with regulatory frameworks like CORIE, STAR-FS are advantageous We encourage anyone inspired to build a better future with us to apply and join Macquarie.
