Key responsibilities of the role include review of medical patients presenting to the emergency department, inpatient care and outpatient clinics. Liaison with colleagues in General Medicine and other hospital Staff Specialists for collaboration on patient care is an essential facet of this role, as well as participation in departmental meetings and reviews as required.
