Add expected salary to your profile for insights.This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of an organisation that delivers meaningful, person-centred, culturally appropriate services and supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living within the Ovens Murray region.Mungabareena Aboriginal Corporation (MAC) is seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Executive Officer to empower and lead a dedicated team to proudly represent MAC within the community.About Mungabareena Aboriginal CorporationMungabareena Aboriginal Corporation (MAC) is a Community Controlled Organisation providing a range of services for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people living within the Ovens Murray region.About the roleStrategic LeadershipWork with the Board and Executive to review and implement the Strategic Plan.Operationalize the strategic plan in conjunction with the Executive team.Ensure community member priorities are met within the overall strategy and business plans.Build awareness and influence in the community, government, business, and other bodies to improve services to members.Stakeholder EngagementManage external stakeholder expectations, including community members, governance, funding, and government bodies.Foster and maintain partnerships with local businesses and the broader community.Organisational ManagementOversee finances and assets management, ensuring legal compliance.Lead and contribute to MAC''s business sustainability.Oversee MACs Quality Management framework and ISO9001 Re-Certification.Lead MACs communication strategies internally and externally.Manage risks in collaboration with the Board.GovernanceDevelop strong relationships with the MAC Board.Keep the Board informed on services, finances, and risks.Demonstrate leadership, accountability, and compliance.Manage performance and development of the Executive team.Key Working RelationshipsInternal management and employees.Community members and families.Other Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation staff.Stakeholders, funding agencies, and service providers.Skills and ExperienceQualifications in Community Services, Management, or relevant experience.Knowledge of community services sector and Aboriginal organisations, with leadership experience.Experience in health and wellbeing challenges for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.Proven ability to develop, secure, and manage funding and partnerships.Experience in social, emotional, educational programs with positive outcomes.Exceptional interpersonal and staff management skills.Professional, honest, and ethical character.Requirements for the RoleA current Victorian Working with Children Check.A Pre-employment Health Declaration.Full-time, flexible working arrangements.
