You will be a decision-maker, providing crucial support to the Managing Director while driving business outcomes. You will directly lead 4-6 staff in administration and accounts, with strategic responsibilities focused on improving team efficiency.More specifically, your responsibilities include:Providing strategic direction and oversight for daily operations, aligning activities with organisational goals.Leading the coordination and management of ongoing projects, ensuring timely, within-scope, and within-budget delivery.Fostering a collaborative environment that attracts, retains, and develops top talent within engineering and support teams.Establishing KPIs to monitor and evaluate operational effectiveness.Maintaining relationships with clients, vendors, partners, and stakeholders.Overseeing digital transformation and technology adoption.Managing risk frameworks.The PersonWe seek candidates from diverse backgrounds with qualities including:Solid leadership experience, preferably in mid-sized, growth-oriented companies.Experience in fast-paced consulting or professional services environments is highly regarded.Strong understanding of business functions like HR, Finance, and Marketing.Proven strategic planning and business development skills.Knowledge of data analysis and operational metrics.Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.A strategic mindset capable of planning and executing initiatives aligned with client goals.Ability to influence and engage with teams and peers.Decisiveness based on data and insights, with a willingness to take calculated risks.High integrity, dependability, urgency, and results orientation.Commitment to excellence and high standards.The Opportunity for YouThis role offers the chance to make a tangible impact within a busy, reputable company with a bright future.
