We have been retained to execute a search which will see the appointment of a CEO/Managing Partner to lead this prestigious and well-respected Sydney-based law firm. The key element of this search is to find an individual who can lead this firm to the next phase of its maturity. This will see growth on all fronts, including commercial, operational efficiencies, and personal development, with the driving force being to build on an already successful business. With a strong brand and market reputation, built upon both tenure and execution, this is a significant opportunity for the right CEO to partner with the owner on this journey of transition. It is expected that you will have a legal background and significant exposure to "C-suite" and leadership roles. While there are obvious tangible assets critical in the appointment, the key driver is to find a CEO with the appropriate "sizzle" or "wow" factor. You will naturally pursue best practice and excellence, relish the journey of leading and growing a firm, and most importantly, have the internal desire and drive to "want" to do this. To be considered for this role, you will need to be a dynamic and collaborative leader, capable of engaging and developing strong relationships with a range of stakeholders, including members and commercial partners. Key selection criteria include: Demonstrable exposure to leadership roles across professional services, specifically legal services. Proven experience in leadership and management of multidisciplinary teams. Sound financial and commercial acumen coupled with a client-centric approach. Extensive experience working with cross-practice partners. Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage complex projects and drive operational improvements. Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Strong understanding of legal operations, commercial transactions, and dispute processes (preferred). Proficiency in business software applications and implementations.
