In this role, you will perform maintenance and facility tasks in our maintenance and production areas. With a core focus on health & safety culture, this role requires adherence to safety procedures while carrying out various tasks.The shift pattern is as follows:Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 4.00pmResponsibilitiesManaging waste tasks, including waste control and discharge, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirementsCoordinating with waste contractors, operating and cleaning facilities equipment, including DAF Trade Waste Treatment, Wastewater Neutralization Systems, Tank farm & Unloading Bay, CIP, managing chemicals, and replacing filtersPerforming rounds, taking utility readings, maintaining and updating database systems, and operating water treatment plantsMaintaining communication with team members, production, and management; providing timely responses and follow-upMaintaining gardening, landscaping, and driveways to high standardsCleaning and maintaining building structuresPerforming other ad hoc facility services as advised by the line managerRequirementsComputer skills (SAP, Excel, Word) preferred but not essentialProcessed-based risk assessment skillsExcellent communication and numeracy skillsForklift license is mandatoryHands-on attitude and a can-do approachWhat we offerAt Goodman Fielder, with sites across Australasia, you''ll work with leading technologies producing reputable brands.
