Key duties include:Hands-on production labourGeneral tube and steel processing e.g., drilling, linishing, pressingParticipating in stocktakesOperating machineryStainless steel polishingInducting/training staff in machine use if requiredSupporting safety system implementation and upgradesPerforming dimensional and quality checksReporting NCRs and correctionsReporting safety issues immediatelyChecking parts and quantities before job sign-offMaintaining neat steel storage and clear walkwaysLeaving work areas clean and tools organizedLoading and unloading trucks when inducted on necessary equipmentAbout YouThe ideal candidate will:Have a manufacturing or related industry backgroundBe an excellent communicator with an eye for detailPossess good physical abilities, including lifting and standing for long periodsBe enthusiastic, highly motivated, and have a strong work ethicHave the capability and desire to learn new skillsBe punctual and reliableHave high energy and commitmentBe willing to undergo a medical including drug and alcohol testingHold a current Australian drivers licensePossess a current forklift license (highly regarded)Hold a current dogging ticket (highly regarded)To apply online, click the Apply button below.
