We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Aged and Disabled Carer to provide personalised support to NDIS participants. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily activities, personal care, household tasks, and provide emotional support to enhance their quality of life and independence.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide mobility assistance to clients including transfers, positioning, and ambulation supportAssist with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressingPrepare nutritious meals according to clients'' dietary requirementsPerform essential housekeeping duties including cleaning, vacuuming, and laundryAccompany clients to medical appointments, social activities, and community eventsShop for groceries and run errands as neededProvide companionship and emotional support through conversation and engagementArrange and facilitate social activities to promote mental wellbeingMonitor clients'' health condition and report any changes to supervisor or family membersMaintain accurate records of care provided and client observationsAssist with personal hygiene including bathing, showering, toileting, and groomingHelp with dressing, undressing, and selection of appropriate clothingAssist with oral care, hair care, and skin careAssist with medication reminders (as permitted by regulations)QualificationsPrevious 1-2 years full-time experience in aged care or disability support (preferred)Understanding of aged care and disability service standardsCertificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community) or equivalent qualificationSkills and AttributesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsEmpathetic and patient approach to careReliability and punctualityPhysical capability to assist with client transfers and positioningRespect for client dignity, privacy, and cultural diversityProblem-solving abilities and sound judgmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamHow to ApplyPlease submit your resume and a brief cover letter highlighting your relevant experience to info@yesstaffing.com.au. #J-18808-Ljbffr
