About the roleWe are seeking a dedicated part-time / Casual Domestic / Laundry and Cleaning professional to join our team at the Star of the Sea Aged Care facility in Wallaroo, SA 5556. This hands-on role is crucial in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our residents and the overall presentation of our facility.What you''ll be doingPerforming daily cleaning duties such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting and sanitizing throughout the facilityUndertaking laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding and distributing clean linens and residents'' personal itemsMaintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation and presentation in all areas of the facilityIdentifying and reporting any maintenance or repair issuesAdhering to all safety and infection control protocolsProviding a welcoming and friendly service to residents, visitors and colleaguesWhat we''re looking forPrevious experience in a similar domestic or cleaning role, ideally within an aged care or healthcare settingStrong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisationGood physical fitness and stamina to complete manual tasksExcellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanorUnderstanding of and commitment to infection control and workplace health and safety practicesAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamWhat we offerAt Star of the Sea Aged Care, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
