ASA will continue to provide free quality end-to-end advice and assistance, ensuring a clear understanding for apprentices and employers on how to access quality support when needed throughout their apprenticeship or traineeship.Apprenticeships and traineeships play a vital role in the Australian Vocational Educational and Training system. They contribute significantly to the Australian economy by bridging the gap between individuals career aspirations and employers skills requirements. These apprenticeships provide opportunities for people to receive training, pursue studies and earn an income across a diverse range of occupations. ASA is proud to be a national contributor to this vital system.About the roleThis role is responsible for delivering a broad range of activities to support apprentices and employers to work towards successful completion of the apprenticeship. The Mentor will deliver tailored, personalised advisory services and will be required to anticipate and advocate apprentice/trainee needs to enable engagement in the workplace and then engage and consult to provide support and assistance where required. Please note this role is delivering these services to apprentices/trainees and or their employers in their workplace in person and by virtual communications also.About youThis position is well suited to an organised individual who can work autonomously, thrives in a busy field environment, and has the ability to build rapport with various internal and external stakeholders.
