The role will lead system reforms that reduce reoffending, promote rehabilitation, and deliver improved outcomes, particularly for regional and remote communities.Key accountabilities include the design and delivery of strategic initiatives, provision of high-level advice to the Commissioner and Ministers, and the governance of community-based supervision systems, including parole, probation, and reintegration programs. The role also encompasses oversight of funding and performance frameworks to ensure operational excellence and fiscal responsibility.Strong stakeholder engagement is essential, including collaboration with Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, non-government organisations, and other government entities to ensure culturally appropriate, place-based service delivery.The successful candidate will be a values-driven executive with extensive experience leading complex operations and multidisciplinary teams, ideally within justice or related sectors.
