Our member is a leader in their field, supporting clients in both government and private sectors with highly skilled consultants, assisting in the successful delivery of their projects for over 20 years. They blend traditional project management techniques with agile approaches and software for smarter, more effective project delivery. Due to their success, they seek an experienced Head of Operations to support the delivery of the consulting side of the business with a multidisciplinary team including finance, IT, security, and HSEQ professionals. This role involves leading the team, delivering complex functions (e.g., consultant effectiveness reports), driving continuous improvements, reviewing outputs, and representing corporate operations at senior management levels. The position is pivotal in delivering essential business functions to ensure compliance and effectiveness. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Developing and implementing innovative solutions to enhance business systems efficiency and effectiveness. Creating and maintaining a roadmap for system improvements, prioritizing initiatives based on impact and resources. Managing security, HSE, financial, and quality systems to uphold high standards. Conducting audits and assessments for system improvements and risk mitigation. Evaluating and selecting software/tools to improve processes and productivity. Developing accurate internal reports on staff, client engagements, P&L, and forecasts. Collaborating with Finance to ensure financial accountability and performance. Fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Supporting KPI and metric development and tracking to measure financial strategies'' effectiveness. Leading financial data analysis for business optimization and growth. Mentoring and coaching team members for optimal performance. Promoting team cohesion and collaboration, especially in a remote environment. About you: Certified Practicing Accountant or equivalent experience/degree. Knowledge of HSE and Quality Management Systems (e.g., rippling, ClickUp, Xero, Freshworks CRM). Experience in consulting business management or within a consulting firm. Ability to work effectively remotely. Project management skills covering scope, schedule, budget, risks. Process improvement qualification is desirable. Knowledge of P&L and balance sheets. Adaptability to changing environments and deadlines. Leadership experience in a medium-sized business or functional team management. Strong leadership and motivational skills.
