Job Description

OVERVIEW We have partnered with a highly respected property firm that leads the way in managing premier retail assets on behalf of a national landlord with properties across Australia. We''re looking for an experienced Centre Manager or Retail Property Manager to manage two shopping centres in Perth. These shopping centres are based north and east of the river. There is flexibility on which centre you can be based at. Responsibilities will include: Act as a key liaison between the landlord and tenants, managing lease and license obligations Ensure tenancy schedules are accurate and up to date Support the budgeting process by assisting with annual income and expenditure planning Administer and monitor bank guarantees Conduct routine inspections Respond to and follow through on maintenance issues with the FM team Foster positive, professional relationships with retailers Assist with recommendations on capital works projects (CAPEX) to the Facilities team Collaborate on marketing and promotional strategies to support retail performance Manage rent arrears Prepare and deliver monthly financial and performance reports Assist in forecasting and managing operational expenses BENEFITS Work with a top tier property agency with all the latest systems & procedures Manage two well maintained shopping centres on behalf of a well known retail national landlord Administration assistance, Operations team and support from the portfolio manager Flexibility on which site to be based more at Generous salary structure, especially for a retail PM who may want to step into something more senior CRITERIA Minimum of 2 years'' experience in retail property or centre management Relevant qualifications in property or real estate ideal Certificate of Registration or Agents Representative Certificate (mandatory) Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with stakeholders A strong customer service mindset Exceptional organisational and time management skills A current drivers license (mandatory) Working knowledge of shopping centre operations and facilities management If you would like to hear more, call Mallory Perkins on 0493 247 029 or mallory@castrecruitment.com.au or Paige Drummond on0447 596 028 or send your CV topaige.drummond@castrecruitment.com.au Please note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
